Prior to your appointment you will be contacted by telephone and asked a number of questions relating to C-19 and your current medical history. You will also be asked to attend alone if possible and requested to wear a face covering.

The health and safety of our patients and staff are paramount and we shall risk assess every person.

Examples of risk factors –

  • Older age.

  • Residence in/travel to location reporting community transmission.
  • Residence in a long-term facility.

On arriving at the Clinic there will be a sign to ask you to ring the doorbell and wait until a member of staff opens the door to take your temperature prior to entering the Clinic.

Within the Clinic you will see differences such as a centralised air purifying system, lack of magazines, newspapers, tea/coffee making facilities and non-upholstered furniture together the need for hand sanitation and social distancing. If possible you will be taken straight through into the surgery.

Various Personal Protective Equipment of varying degrees will be worn in accordance with strict guidance dependent upon the procedure to be carried out.

Payment for treatment can be taken by card over the telephone.

The Standard Operating Procedure is not definitive and is subject to change.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Clinic and assure you that we shall endeavour to make your visit as safe as we possibly can by continuing to follow good practice protocols.
